EDEN’s mission is to provide housing solutions to people facing the challenges of housing insecurities and homelessness.
Norma Herr Women’s Center—EDEN owns Norma Herr Women’s Center, the primary emergency shelter for single women in Cuyahoga County. It provided over 1,000 women with emergency shelter and respite from the streets during the past year.
Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless
NEOCH has sought to break the cycle of homelessness in Northeast Ohio. We exist to eliminate the root causes of homelessness while loving our diverse community through organizing, advocacy, education, and street outreach.

Ohioans can visit www.energyhelp.ohio.gov to apply online, download a copy of the application or find contact information for a local Energy Assistance Provider (EAP). When applying, individuals need to have copies of the following documents:
• Most recent utility bills
• A list of all household members (including birth dates and Social Security numbers)
• Proof of income for the past 30 days for all household members (12 months for certain income types)
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency for all household members
• Proof of disability (if applicable)
Shoes and Clothes for Kids
Shoes and Clothes for Kids’ mission is to improve school attendance by eliminating the lack of appropriate shoes, clothes, and school supplies as barrier.
